TERMS AND CONDITIONS
DEPOSIT
To secure a booking please send 50% of the full rental. Full payment is due 4 weeks before your holiday commences. In addition to your final payment we ask for a refundable deposit of £50.00 against damage, loss or breakages. Any loss or damage will be charged against your deposit. Any evidence that the terms set out below have not been complied with (e.g. any evidence that smoking has taken place in the property) will result in forfeit of your deposit. If there are no problems then your deposit will be returned within 7 days of the end of your holiday.
Once your deposit has been received there is a legally binding contract between us. If you are unable to take your holiday for any reason and have to cancel the booking, we will do our best to re-let the property for that period. If we are unable to re-let, you will be liable for the full rental. We would therefore strongly advise you to take out holiday cancellation insurance.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Rental is from 4.00 p.m. Saturday to 10.00 a.m. on the following Saturday. Please let us know if you intend to arrive on a later day.
Smoking is not permitted at Swallows’ End.
Dogs by arrangement only (extra charge £10.00 per week) except service dogs.
No loud parties or loud music late at night.
PERSONAL EFFECTS
It is expected that your personal belongings are covered under your own insurance and we take no responsibility for loss or damage to your personal belongings while on the premises.

We also ask that you respect the peace of the area and save noisy games for the beach
OUR ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
We adhere to the Green Tourism Scheme. We use bio-degradable products for laundry and washing up; water is heated by solar power; sewage is treated in our own treatment plant and further purified in reed beds; all vegetable matter is composted; all glass, paper, plastic, cardboard is recycled; rain water is collected in water butts. We ask you to help the environment by using the recycling bins provided and not to waste energy.
